FAQ

mPay service is activated via the USSD code *188#. Once activated the service remains active untill the user deactivates this service.

  1. By dialing *188# the user gets the menu which includes the option “Aktiviraj servis”.
  2. By activating this option (1) he/she goes to the next step where the user enters the PIN. 

The user deactivates this service by dialing the number *188*7#.

The remaining amount of money on mobile payment balance can be donated to someone else or you can make a refund request in one of m:tel shops.

When you top up via POS terminal, you choose the mobile phone number you want to top up so you have the option to donate the money to some prepaid number, and you can choose whether that money will be considered as prepaid top up or money which will be used for mobile payment service.   

By dialing *188*2# the user, in a simple manner,  can check the balance for mobile payment as well as the given postpaid limit. 

Yes, by dialing the USSD number *188# option 5.

Mobile payment limit is given automatically and depends of the average monthly consumption in the last three months – and it’s doubled. It is also necessary to pay the bills on time, in order to have the oportunity to use mPAY service. If you don’t pay the bills on time you take the risk of not being able to use this service (until you settle your debts).

The system is the same as the one used for paying with a bank’s credit card. The company in which you bought a product/service is responsible for the quality of the product/service.

By dialing *188*3# the user can change the PIN, but needs to know the present PIN in order to change it. If the user has forgotten the present PIN, it can be changed by calling the Customer Service at 1600 or in one of m:tel shops. 

The option „Način plaćanja“ gives you the possibility to choose the payment priority (to decide whether the money will be spent from mobile payment balance or bank account).

You can not change the mobile payment limit but you can make a deposit on one of the POS terminals - in that case you have the postpaid mobile payment limit and the deposit money that you can spend in this way.

If you are a new user of the m:tel network you have the option to make a deposit (for mobile payment) so you can use this service because it is not possible to create an automatic limit. Prepaid user can spend the money that he/she has deposited.

This service can be used only by users of m:tel mobile network. If you are changing your GSM network, you need to deactivate this service, by dialing *188*7#. The remaining amount of money can be transfered to another number (m:tel network) or make a refund request in one of m:tel shops.
